Juvederm Ultra
& Ultra Plus

Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus are Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers injected beneath the skin’s surface to smooth lines and wrinkles around the mouth.  Both products are FDA-approved for the treatment of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, while Juvéderm Ultra  is also FDA-approved for lip augmentation.

Dr. Kenneth Sanders determines which formula will most satisfactorily “fill out” and smooth your vertical lip lines, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and corners of the mouth.

Juverderm Ultra

What is Juvederm Ultra?

How long does Juvederm Ultra last?

What's the difference
between Juvederm Ultra & Juvederm Ultra Plus?

Juvederm Ultra is a good filler for smoothing areas where there is mild to moderate volume loss and a thinner skin.  It forms a smooth layer under the skin that corrects the hollows and depressions created by mild to moderate volume loss.  Since it is hydrophylic, it draws in water molecules that help soften and hold the correction.   Thinning lips, mild nasolabial folds, oral commissures, mild glabellar lines and mild marionette lines respond well to Juvederm Ultra.   It's a finishing layer for a full correction.  Juvederm Ultra  will break down naturally over time, but areas with more movement such as lips tend to lose their correction faster than areas with less movement.

An optimal treatment with Juvederm Ultra may last up to a year depending on the area of injection.

Juvederm Ultra Plus is a thicker more viscous substance than Juvederm Ultra. Therefore, Ultra Plus can provide more dramatic results in areas with deeper lines and hollows in the skin
